Progressive die stamping is a production run manufacturing process, that uses multiple dies, and the required shape is formed progressively with each stage.

Intricate parts that cannot be manufactured in a single press are usually manufactured progressively with multiple dies. Since the parts go through multiple dies, the finished parts are very precise.
