Plastics
PLA
It is the most common and lest-costing 3D printing material available. It is typically used for visual prototypes only. It can replicate complex shapes and details.
ABS
ABS is also quite a common 3D printing material but has better mechanical and thermal properties than PLA. It can be used for engineering applications.
Nylon
Nylon (Polyamides) has excellent mechanical properties and high resistance to corrosion and abrasion. It is a perfect material for engineering applications, for functional prototypes.
Resin
Resins are thermoset polymers that can be printed with SLA Additive manufacturing machines. They can produce great detail and excellent surface finishes. They are ideal for prototyping applications.
